First Visit Experience
All our team members at The Dental Practice here in Bathurst are committed to providing you with quality dental treatment and care. Each patient is treated to the same service we expect when we ourselves are sitting in the dental chair.
From your first point of contact with our friendly team you will be treated with the utmost respect, recognising your individual circumstance and requirements.
At your first appointment we will complete a thorough examination of all of the hard and soft tissues within your mouth to assess the health of your teeth, gums, muscles and jaw.
All our patients are given a thorough explanation of their dental problems including any required treatments that will help restore their oral health. We encourage questions from patients to ensure they understand both the dental problems and best treatment options for their needs.
Being new to our practice we have a lot to catch up on. To gain a thorough understanding of your medical and dental history, including your current medical state we will request you complete the New Patient form.

Updating Your Details
If you need to update your medical history or personal details please download this PDF .
Changes and Cancellations
When we make your appointment, we are reserving a room for your particular needs. If you need to change your appointment, please call us at least 24 hours prior. This courtesy makes it possible to give your reserved room to another patient.
There is a charge for scheduled appointment no-shows. Repeated cancellations or missed appointments will result in loss of future appointment privileges.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please contact our friendly team.
If you have any areas of concern be sure to communicate these to your dentist at your appointment.
Here are some questions you may like to consider before you visit your Dentist;

Health funds and HICAPS
If you are a member of a health fund, simply bring your membership card to your next appointment and with our HICAPS machine we can process your requests in just a few minutes while you wait. Then, all you have to pay is the difference (the gap).
We accept cash, credit cards, cheques and EFTPOS.
